Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using FleetGuard Pro ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

FleetGuard Pro provides fractional fleet management software and referral services to small commercial trucking operators. The Service includes a member dashboard, document storage, and access to our network of repair shops, insurance brokers, and compliance specialists.

FleetGuard Pro is not a licensed attorney, insurance agent, or DOT representative. We provide management and referral services only. You remain responsible for your fleet's compliance, insurance coverage, and regulatory obligations.

3. Membership & Billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
You may cancel any time via the Billing panel in your member dashboard.
Refunds are not provided for partial months. We may issue prorated credits at our discretion for service interruptions.

4. Acceptable Use

You will not: (a) misuse the Service or attempt to access it through any means other than the interface we provide; (b) upload content that infringes another party's rights; (c) use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if continued service would expose us to legal or regulatory risk.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." We disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Franklin County, Ohio.

Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account information: name, business name, email, phone, billing address, payment method.
Fleet data: truck and driver records, maintenance history, DOT documents, safety incidents — whatever you upload to your member dashboard.
Usage data: log entries, IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed.

2. How we use it

We use your information to deliver the Service, manage your account, communicate with you about your fleet, comply with legal obligations, and improve the platform.

3. Sharing

With repair shops, insurance brokers, and compliance specialists you have authorized us to engage on your behalf.
With regulators and law enforcement when required by valid legal process.
With service providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) under written confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention & deletion

We retain your data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after cancellation for audit and tax purposes. You may request deletion at any time by contacting hello@fleetguardpro.com; we will honor it subject to legal-hold obligations.

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly.

6. Your rights

Depending on jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Contact hello@fleetguardpro.com to exercise these rights.

Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies including localStorage and sessionStorage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences.

2. Cookies we use

Essential: session cookies to keep you logged in. Cannot be disabled.
Functional: localStorage for fleet data, dashboard layout, and saved filters.
Analytics: aggregated usage data via privacy-respecting analytics. No third-party advertising trackers.

3. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent the Service from functioning. Clearing localStorage will reset your dashboard to demo seed data.
